HeartBleed…Don’t Worry, You’re Safe With Us
You may have read about the new SSL vulnerability, entitled HeartBleed that was discovered by Google on Monday April 7, 2014. The Heartbleed bug allows hackers to steal information that is passed VIA SSL encryption. SSL is the standard used by web sites/web servers to encrypt traffic on their web sites (ourselves included).
We are pleased to announce that all web sites hosted by QC Total Tech are not at risk to this vulnerability, we have patched our servers and tested to ensure that there is no vulnerability, in turn risking the sites we host and their end users to possible malicious activity.
