Thank you for taking the time peruse our web site and learn about our company.  We call ourselves a full-service web site developer, what does that mean exactly?  Well, we can do everything from content writing, photography, graphic design, web site construction and search engine optimization.   No matter what size the project or how little time your business has to commit to the project we are here to help.  We take away the pains of designing a web site, it can be a grueling process.  Sure, there are do it yourself tools out there like GoDaddy, 1Vs1, VistaPrint and so on, but that’s not what we are.  We’re here to serve you with personal service and an attention to detail.  We couple years of experience with a knack for understanding our clients and their customer needs, we believe this is what sets apart from the competition.

We began in 2005 when Jason Howell, our founder, decided to venture out on his own and start an IT firm.  Initially Jason started with a few partners and things evolved over time, within just over a year his partners were gone and Jason started operating the company exclusively.  QC Total Tech today is very different than the company that was started 8 years ago, that has been the key to our survival.  We adapt and change to follow the market, the technology and most importantly what our clients desire.

That’s enough on us as a whole, now here’s a little bit of information on our core staff.

Jason Howell

Jason is the lead for all web site development, including graphic design, overall functionality and site layout.

Jason is the founder of QC Total Tech and began his career in the IT Field in 1998 working for Xerox.   Jason’s education is mostly self taught and attended college only for a short time.  During his career, Jason has held various positions throughout the IT industry working as a Database Analyst, Desktop Support, Network and Server Support and Software Development.  Jason has also had the opportunity to work for in IT for companies of all sizes and industry including small business, global conglomerates and the Department of Defense.   Jason’s strong suit has always been software and web site development, he is fluent in PHP, .NET, Visual Basic, SQL, JavaScript, CSS and HTML.   Over the years Jason has developed over 130 web sites, 50 desktop applications and countless automation scripts for both servers and desktops.    Jason likes to spend his free time with his family and has a strong interest in movies and paintball.  Jason is currently engaged and has 1 daughter.

Emily VanWychen

Emily is the lead for all web user interaction, content development and customer relations.

Emily has been involved with QC Total Tech since 2007 and is now a co-owner.  Emily began her career in IT working at Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL where she attended with a Major in Computer Science.  Emily has held various positions throughout the business world and brings her business savvy knowledge to QC Total Tech, this general business experience is what allows her to key in on individual client needs with razor sharp accuracy.  Emily has worked in the Transportation, Education and Entertainment industries and is fluent with HTML.  Emily enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, is a member of the American Poolplayers Association and is currently engaged with 2 sons.
