Educate

Educating your customers is one of the most important things you can accomplish with your web site. When you educate your customers it shows them that you are knowledgeable and positions you and your company as an expert in your industry. When a potential or current customer knows they can find answers to their questions on your web site, they will return to your website. These return visits to your web site increase the likelihood that a web site visitor will turn into a customer and an existing customer will spend more money with your company; return visits also help increase your ranking with Google and keep your site at the top of the search engine results.

Our team sits down with you to analyze your information, goals and competition and develops a plan to determine the best possible ways to educate your clients on your offerings.

So how do we educate?  Check out the listings below, for some of the features we've found are best are clearly displaying information to your web site's visitors.

Glossary

Glossary

This feature allows you to define terms specific to your industry that are usually misunderstood by your customers. When terms that you choose to define appear on your web site they are underlined and when a user hovers over the term with their mouse the definition pops up on the screen for the to read. The user doesn’t have to leave the page they are reading to see the definition.

Blog

Blog

A blog is the best way to communicate with and educate your customers. A blog post is written as though you were talking directly to your audience in person. A blog can be used to educate your customers about what’s new in your company, industry news and to answer frequently asked questions. Our blog includes a comments feature that allows your customers to make comments or ask questions about your blog posts. We also give your customers the ability to subscribe to your blog via a RSS Feed. A RSS Feed allows your customers to receive your blog posts in their e-mail. This is especially helpful because when a user receives your blog posts in their e-mail, it keeps you and your company on their mind and increases the probability they will visit your web site again and become or continue to be your customer.

Articles

Articles

Our Articles feature is especially useful if anyone on your staff regularly writes articles for magazines, industry publications, newsletters or you simply want a more formal method of displaying information than a blog. All the articles are included in your XML sitemap, site search and will be listed in the search engines.  The articles appear on a page with the article title, author, a picture related to the article and the first few lines of the article. We include a “read more..” link at the end of the article teaser that links to a page with the full article.  You can even have a headlines area on any page of your site to show the most recent articles or stories.
