The Launch of IICIL.com
Last week we launched a new web site for The Illinois Iowa Center for Independent Living (IICIL). IICIL supports those are disabled in any area of life. They offer intepreting, braille and homecoming services. IICIL is an amazing organization that provides wonderful support for all of it’s beneficiaries. We provided them with a heavy discount on web site design and free hosting and domain renewal for life as a client of ours. IICIL had a site that we had constructed for them several years back and it was time for some updates, the staff at IICIL felt as though it was very important to show their organization’s history and growth. We took a look at their needs and came up with a timeline and photo gallery. This new timeline feature allows prospective beneficiaries, their families and potential donors and support organizations the ability to take an interactive look into their organization. We used color schemes and fonts that are compatible to those persons living with color blindness and ensured the web site was compatible with screen reading software.
