Why DIY Feels Like DIY

DIY is all the rage these days, especially with services like Wix, GoDaddy, etc.   The problem with DIY marketing is that it’s limited by skillset.    Do you prepare your own taxes?  Do you cut your own hair?   Experts exist in each field for a reason, and while DIY marketing is very tempting, and may seem easy it’s not always effective.  Bad marketing can actually hurt your business, we’ve heard the phrase “ahh, just try it, what can it hurt?”, quite a bit actually.   If you’re spreading the wrong message, or the right message in the wrong way you can damage potential relationships, hurt first impressions and more.  If it’s a job worth doing, it’s a job worth doing right.  It will cost more to have a professional in your corner, but it’s your business, you’ve worked so hard to come this far…its best to do everything you can to foster good relationships and make your company have the best image possible.   Having an expert on your side constantly reviewing your brand and web presence is critical in 2020.  Keep moving forward, and leave the heavy lifting to the pros so you can do that voodoo that you do so well.
